Introducing Elesa’s Vertical Toggle Clamps with Extended Levers

Oct 6, 2021

Reading time: minutes

The new extended lever allows the clamp arm to reach components in the middle of an assembly while giving clearance to view a template or positioning indices so that operators can work more easi ly around the clamped component.

During opening, the operator's fingers cannot be hit by the lever. During clamping, the lever is controlled to prevent impact on functioning due to side thrust.

Extended lever toggle clamps are available with a folded base plate or with a straight base to suit the orientation required.

The new toggle clamps with extended lever are part of the ver tical toggle clamps range which, thanks to the toggle mechanism, are ideal for industrial applications where high clamping forces and repetitive movements are required to lock components quickly and safely.

New toggle clamps with extended lever sit alongside the Elesa toggle clamps with safety release handles in vertical or horizontal configuration for optimum operator convenience to suit the layout of individual work stations. This ensures rapid manual operation which is both fast and accurate, with pre-set safety (anti-release) lever to prevent accidental opening in the presence of strong vibrations, and to ensure that the operator's fingers cannot be hit by the lever while opening.
