SELF-SANITISATION AGAINST BACTERIA AND FUNGI
Polyurethane castors and wheels
Our range of polyurethane castors and wheels are strong and sturdy components perfect for use in a host of industries. The use of polyurethane results in a castor that boasts the elasticity of rubber with the durable strength of metal. Available in injected or moulded versions, our castors are ideal for manual or mechanical handling on smooth surfaces.
Such a versatile component can be used across many applications. We recognise that the specification of each of our polyurethane castors is important and so we supply a number of elements intended for different purposes.
The Elesa selection of polyurethane wheels feature central bodies made from polymer, aluminium, or cast iron to meet your operational needs.
We host a range of castor supports made from steel and stainless steel and with fixed or turning plate brackets. In our catalogue you will find wheels suitable for general use, or for medium-heavy, heavy, and extra-heavy loads. Our RE.F2 components are similarly compatible with steel brackets to hold light to heavy loads but feature soft polyurethane wheels which help to minimise scratches and scrapes on hard surfaces.
Injected polyurethane wheels
Our injected polyurethane wheels are available with an optional brake which locks the wheel and bracket rotation. We also supply wheels in a stainless steel variant—ideal for use in regulated areas which require the use of corrosion-resistant materials.
Moulded polyurethane wheels
Our moulded polyurethane castor variations provide elasticity with medium to high levels of mechanical resistance to compression and tensile hardness. With excellent rolling features, these wheels are an ideal solution for continuous moving and heavy loads.
With diameters of between 40mm and 300mm, Elesa polyurethane castors and wheels have a carrying capacity of:
- 0-1400 N
- 1401-2600 N
- 2601-5000 N
- 5001-10000 N
- 10001-25000 N
