Transmission elements

Our range of spur gears are ideal for use in an array of environments. These cylindrical toothed components can be used in industrial equipment to transfer mechanical motion as well as control speed, power, and torque. We manufacture our gears using polyamide based technopolymer. This material boasts many benefits, including:

  • cost-effectiveness
  • high resistance to wear and chemical agents
  • durability
  • provides a positive and constant speed drive to facilitate daily industrial operations
  • resistance to torsion and traction
  • good resistance to high temperatures

Elesa transmission elements have been specially designed to perform excellently under mechanical resistance with no need for lubrication maintenance. As versatile components with a lightweight profile, our elements are also ideal for use in environments where quiet operation is required.

The potential for use spans many industries, including packaging, industrial cleaning, processing of materials, food industry, printing industry, construction of machinery for agriculture, household appliances.

Our technopolymer gears are available in a range of modules and maximum torques to meet your requirements. Torque values can vary depending on factors such as lubrication, temperature, pairing with different materials, and continuous operating hours. While each of our gears is suitable for use across many sectors, our blue technopolymer components are especially ideal for applications in the food and pharmaceutical industries. Characterised by its bright cobalt colour, these elements are easily visible to mitigate risk of accidental food contamination.

Within our range of transmission elements, you will also find a selection of racks for use in transforming rotary motion into translational motion, and vice versa. Our technopolymer racks are available as square section with or without steel core, as T section, and with a bracket for mounting on a parallel or perpendicular plane.

For gears, racks, and much more, take a look at the Elesa catalogue. You will find all of the standard components you need—all arranged into product families for your convenience.
