Polyurethane springs and bars
Elesa introduces polyurethane springs and bars to its range
These standard components can be used as load dampers or as forming elements. They are widely used in processes such as drawing, sheet metal deformation and ejectors. Available in three hardness levels (80, 90 and 92 Shore A) and multiple diameters (from 16 to 63 mm).
The elastomer springs and hollow bars guarantees:
- High resistance to axial load, avoiding sudden breakage in the event of overload.
- Good elasticity characteristics combines with medium-high levels of hardness of mechanical resistance to compression and traction.
- Resistance to chemical agents such as acid, greases and oils.
The perforated bars with lengths of 250 and 500 mm can be used as rollers on conveyor belts, pipes or by cutting or turning the polyurethane bars you can obtain springs for molds, bushings and shock absorbers. The perforated springs are an excellent alternative to traditional metal springs.
