If machinery vibrations are not isolated, the following damage can occur:
• noise pollution
• damage to machinery parts
• damage to walls and floors
• machinery breakages and malfunctions
• discomfort to operators
• damage to health
Fortunately, anti-vibration mounts do a great job of minimising vibrations and can help prolong the life of your machinery. Anti-vibration mounts are small yet powerful components used across many industries.
Usually made of rubber and steel, they isolate the vibrations that are a by-product of operating machinery. One of the main components of our rubber buffers, this natural material is excellent at absorbing vibrations to stop them from negatively affecting your workplace.
Anti-vibration mounts
Our quality range of anti-vibration flange mounts can be mounted to the wall, floor or ceiling, so all your machinery can be protected. Made from rubber and steel, they are ideal for use with applications such as compressors, fans, vibrating feeders, rotary pumps, and electric motors. The DVG and DVI variations can be used together to protect the machine’s electrical panel from surrounding vibrations. These flange mounts are particularly effective in isolating vibrations from fans and other wall-mounted vibrating equipment.
If you have larger machinery that requires isolation of strong vibrations, our double acting aluminium flange mounts provide axial holding force and compression resistance. These AVG components are particularly suitable for anti vibration and use with machine tools, presses for moulding plastics materials, and special machines.
Also in our range of anti-vibration components are varying types of metal cushions. Available with a plain or smooth pass-through hole, the cushions are designed to be used on their own or in combination with fittings, They are typically used for vibration isolation in compression in electromechanical equipment, pipe supports, industrial refrigerants, flooring, train carriage panelling, and thrusters.
Finally, AVC wire rope isolators are used both for isolating vibrations and shock absorption. They are suitable where axial holding force, resistance to compression and shear force are required.
Rubber buffers
The Elesa range of rubber buffers features plates of steel and stainless-steel which make for a sturdy and reliable component. The buffers can be attached to machinery for maximum protection. Our rubber buffers absorb vibrations from industrial equipment to minimise the output of damage and noise pollution.
Versatility is something we strive for, so our range of rubber buffers include components with blind holes or threaded screws in diameters of M10, M12, M16 and M20. We also believe that practically and aestheticism can go hand in hand, and so we supply buffers in both black and grey colours. The simple pleasure of components that match the machinery design is possible thanks to the extensive Elesa range.
If you require rubber buffers for use in the food and medical industry, look no further than our grey silicone buffers. With FDA compliance, they are ideal for use in catering and pharmaceuticals.
Within our buffer range is also a selection of vibration-dampening levelling feet. Steel components plated in zinc, these components are resistant to oils and to temperatures between 30°C and +70°C.
